Professor Edward Badu is a Professor of Construction Management at KNUST and holds PhD in Engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan He has held key leadership roles, including Provost of the College of Art and Built Environment (2010-2016) and Dean of Institute of Distance Learning (2007-2010).
He is a Fellow of the Ghana Institute of Construction, the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building, and the Institute for the Promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility. Nana has published over 100 papers. His research and teaching focus on Capital Project Financing, Construction Management, Construction Economics, Project Management, Staff and Curriculum Development  and Distance Education.
